CHANGING
FACILITIES added 10/11/2009
Please note that it is the responsibility of Clubs who find themselves
having no access to changing facilities to give visiting teams prior
warning so that youth players may arrive already changed. Should a team
arrive at a game and find that changing facilities are unavailable for
whatever reason, it is the responsibility of the person managing the
youth players to ensure that they find somewhere suitable to change.

DISCLOSURES
Self Dec Form
Now is
a good time to get organised for next season. To fulfil your club’s
legal obligations you need to check that anyone who is likely to be in a
child care position eg coaching or managing has a disclosure IN THE
NAME OF YOUR CLUB. People will tell you they have a disclosure for
work etc but may be unaware that they need to have one in your club’s
name in order to comply with legal requirements.
This is
easy just do the following:
-
E mail
Claire Fergusson at Scottish Hockey and ask him to email you a list of
people who are disclosed for your club. claire.fergusson@scottish-hockey.org.uk.
-
If the
names of those who are likely to be in a child care position do not
appear on that list get them to fill out the attached form and
return it to Scottish Hockey. N.B. You will need to change the
red print which currently says East District to the name of your
club.
-
If they
require to fill out a full disclosure they will be sent this form by
Scottish Hockey.
If I
can be of any further help please let me know.
