Match Report Form 2010/2011 Outdoor Rules 2010/2011

Match report forms must still be completed and returned to your Div Rep as normal within 7 days of match so that results can be verified.

Fixtures live - teams must update their results by going into their fixture and putting in the result. These results will be confirmed by the div reps on receipt of the match report form

East Ladies Indoor is being run be Claire Smith.

IMPORTANT Indoor Rules Update added 7/10/09

Following discussion with the SHU then Roger Webb, Technical Manager FIH, it now appears, you CANNOT pass to a player within the D by passing off the sideboard at an attacking free push.

You can however self-pass, bounce ball off boards and pass into D.

The key part of the rule is: "after the ball has touched the side-board, any player may deflect or push the ball into the circle". Ie, after it has touched the sideboard, the ball must be touched/deflected/pushed again before entering the circle. But also note that its says "any" player, so the player taking the free push can play it again and into the circle after it has it touched the sideboard.
